Species: Cambropallas telesto
Age: Middle Cambrian
Locality: Jbel Wawrmast, Tinjdad, Morocco

The fossils are well centered onto a 39 x 30 x 10 cm concretion.

The ammonite is self standing wich make it very decorative.

Name : Lytoceras fimbriatum
Age : Jurassic, Pliensbachian stage
Found in : Fresney-le-Puceux, France

This fossil ammonite itself has a size of 24.5 cm , wich make it big for the species .
It has a weight of 4186 g. I picked it up from a collection sale. It may have some cracks filled, especially at the back side (The back side is not so good than front side). The stone has been arranged for being self standing.

Colony on drifted wood
1 in stock
Name : Seirocrinus subangularis
Age : Jurassic , Toarcian stage , Posidonienschiefer Formation
Location : Holzmaden, Germany
Weight : 14.1 kg
Size of the stone : 54.5 x 49.5 cm
Size of the fossil : 34 cm

An exquisite crinoid colony, or sea lily, that has been expertly prepared in the rich black matrix of the famed fossil locality of Holzmaden, Germany. Also present is the beautiful golden-toned pyrite for which the finest examples from the locality are prized. The sea lily used its stem to attache itself onto a wood or other organic material in order to float in the Jurassic seas filter-feeding on small marine organisms. The presence of the wood on which the crinoids were attached is very rare and makes this piece very unique.
Please note that the slab has been glued one time in the middle.

Certainly the best one I picked up from a high grade collection I recently bought (estate sale). The cluster will come with a "map" with all names .
The collector dug and prepared the specimen himself. Upper part can be removed as shown onto the last picture .

Names : Emericiceras emerici + Barremites difficilis + Davidiceras
Age: Cretaceous, Barremian
Findspot: Méjannes, Gard, France
Size of the slab : 74 x 60 x 25 cm
The digging conditions of those slabs are very difficult , and they are always dug brocken. That one has been glued few times and some minor restoration has been done to the fossils along the breacks and the back side has ofcourse been stabilized . It is anyway a very stunning association. No fossil has been composited .The slab is as found.

Due to it's weight and fragility the slab will be sent into a wooden box onto a pallet , of course insured and with tracking.

Name : Seirocrinus subangularis
Age : Jurassic , Toarcian stage , Posidonienschiefer Formation
Location : Holzmaden, Germany
Weight : 8.0 kg
Size of the stone :45×42×2 cm

An exquisite crinoid, or sea lily, that has been expertly prepared in the rich black matrix of the famed fossil locality of Holzmaden, Germany. Also present is the beautiful golden-toned pyrite for which the finest examples from the locality are prized. The sea lily used its stem to attache itself onto a wood or other organic material in order to float in the Jurassic seas filter-feeding on small marine organisms.

The fossil may having been inlaid ,that means it has been stuck into a nicer stone because the original stone was not in good condition . The back has been stabilized with resin and fiber glas as usual when fossils are fragil.
